18 months & counting…

23rd October 2016

Dear Little Poppet,

On this very day 12 months ago, Daddy asked me to marry him, in the Botanical Gardens in Sydney. I still can’t believe how lucky I am and how special it feels knowing he loves me enough to want to spend his life with me.

I love fairytale stories and always hoped one day I would live that fairytale and find my Prince Charming. From the very first time Daddy & I spoke we knew we had a connection and on our very first date I knew that I had met my soul mate…. I just had to hope he felt the same! We had moved in together after 3 months, engaged at 6 months and started trying for a baby – you, our little poppet.

The past 18 months has gone so quickly! We have had so many good times – planning our future together, holidays, parties, renovating the backyard, weekends away, adventures and fun times. But we have also gotten through tough times… losing my Great Aunty Ursula & Daddys Nan Lily. They were both beautiful women, who we wish got the chance to meet you. But we know that they are watching over us and helping us on our IVF journey to  bring you into the world.

Below is a snap shop of our 18 months together…..

Our very first photo together, while at Charlestown Square waiting to go to the movies to see “The Longest Ride”, Us being crazy taking selfies together, Oct 2015 the night we got engaged, 16th Jan 2016 Our Engagement Party Day, Engagement Party, 5th March 2016 Cass & Josh’s Wedding , another Wedding pic, April 2016 Our first real holiday together In Phuket, Our anniversary 26th April on Holiday in Phuket.

Although we have only been together for 18 months, to us it already feels like a lifetime. We have a beautiful home that we share together with our pets Dozer, Boss & Boots and can’t wait for you to join us and make our home complete.

The Beautiful engagement ring Daddy chose all by himself to surprise me with!

I will write again soon.

Love always,

Mummy xxxx
